We returned to VT for some leaf peeping. Our destination is the October Country Inn, 362 Upper Road, Bridgewater Corners, VT.
Lunch on the way in Woodstock VT. J and I went for a little walk afterwards.

This little structural gem is in the middle of our room. Pity it’s no chromed! However, the knot in the middle might cause a few issues!
Supper/dinner at the local pizza joint which had a fine supply of locally brewed Long Trail. The seasonal Pumpkin Ale complete with sugar and cimminum rimmed glass was wonderful. After pizza we all played darts….well, mostly we hit the wall around the dartboard!
JMan lounging outside the pizza place.
Bed by 9pm. Breakfast at 8:30am. The coffee and scones were wonderful. After saying goodbye to our inn keepers Chuck and Edie we went for a hike on the Appalachian Trail. At some point I would like to hike more of it, but it was sure nice to hike a little.
South to Georgia! Next time we’ll get there!

On the road home we spotted this sign. Seems fitting for a fine Irish import like meself!
Quechee Gorge.
