Spotted this one getting on 495 west in Buzzards Bay.
Cape Cod – Post 7
Up late, breakfast and bike ride.
I found this gem deep in the woods. I have no idea how it got to its current resting spot as the closest road is a mile or so way, but it’s all woods in every direction.
I parked on Mary Dunn Road (Hyannis MA) just south of route 6. From there I entered the woods and did 5.5 miles mostly on single track and some gravel roads. Apparently it was a failed housing development that was converted to conservation land.
One of the ponds I found. Here’s a link to my route.
Back to house, pack and hit the road. We are at Cape Cod Burgers and Fries in Buzzards Bay (MA). Like five guys without the peanuts, but better and you can write on the walls!
Jess left this parting note.
All in all is was a wonderful week and thanks W&W for sharing your home and making us feel so very welcome.

Bumper boats to batting cages.

Moving on to A&W Root Beer floats.

Finishing with some candy and this really cool sand sculpture.
Your favorite Irish sons. Growing up in Ireland all mantel places had a picture of JFK and the Sacret Heart. In some cases it was hard to tell by placement which one was more important.
For dinner we meet some old friends Rich and Daisy and it was wonderful to catch up. We promised to stay in touch and not let another 15 years pass before we meet again.
Cape Cod – Post 3
Lazy am, them a boat trip where we all took turns piloting.
After our boat ride we had lunch with one of my studio instructors Herb K and his wife Miriam. It was great to catch up with them.

During our afternoon lake trip I snapped a shot of this house. Architectural speeking it’s interesting.
Jess cools off in the lake. Mind you the water is still a little cool for me!
Intermission!

GMan prepping for his college years.
After a scorpion bowl and some really good Sushi it was off to the bowling alley.

This about sums it up!
View from beach behind the house.
So you think I’m not slacking because my gym is over 100 miles away. Go here for my morning bike ride. Part off and on road.
And around the corner for some candy.
How many people crossed this threshold?

We finished the evening with a few sparklers and a few things that go flash bang! Can you imagine in Massachusetts! Yes Martha!
