Wok & Roll

Jess and JMan attended a cooking class at Bamboo Restaurant on Sunday. Crab Rangoon and Wonton were the two appitezers they made.


The results where good.

peter and the starcatcher

We went to see peter and the starcatcher at Cannon Theater yesterday.

The cast did a great job and Shawn, Bret and all the other theater staff did wonderful work on the production. We all enjoyed the show, fun for the entire family. Buy tickets while you can, show ends next week.

New pet

We got a new pet. It required no maintenance except a dusting every 5 or 6 years, no food which means no pick up on the other end, it’s dead quite and will always be happy to see you, however, it will never come running to meet you.

What really got my attention was the label and in particular “For Decoration Only“. Snaps, I was so looking forward to a little plastic rat a touille. Really, do they think people will actually eat it. Let’s put you know who in the White House and he’ll have a plan to deal with this….or will he!

Apparently, he likes grapes.

1 day to Colorado 

GMan and I are heading to Colorado for some Spring boarding. Given the current weather out there it will be more like our best winter conditions.

Records 

I ran into one of the other locals at my coffee shop this am. The weather came up in our passing conversation and he mentioned that the ice in his pond was finally gone. According to his 60 years of record keeping its a little before average.

I wonder if his records can say anything about global warming?
