Today I took the boys out to Wachusett Mountain. We drove up the mountain road and hiked around the summit.

This morning while talking to a customer from my home office a black bear decided to help himself to our bird feeder! Needless to say snapped a few shots…..with my camera that is!
GMan got a book award
GMan won the book award this year in 4th grade. The book award is given to the student who reads the most pages. My guess is he read more this year than I have in the past five, possible ten!

Snow day

3 hours later and it’s still snowing. This is what the feeder looks like now.
A little closer….I’m thinking 14 plus inches at this point.

Wachusett Mountain
It’s a little early for Snowboarding, but nothing like picking up a few items in preparation. GMan, JMan and myself took a spin out to Wachusett Mountain for the labor day sale. While the parking lot was quite full it turned out that most people were attending a wedding. However, we were not along in the ski shop. I was not looking for anything in particular, but JMan wants to take boarding lessons so we picked up a nice Smith Helmet for short money.
The highlight of the trip was a ride up the chair life! It was weird not to have something hanging from one foot. The boy did great on the getting on and off. You gotta love detachable quads!
On the way up. I just made 1/2 of myself so I could sit on with side of the kids!
