Gingerbread House

In the spirit of the holiday season, and for the sake of my architectural degree, JMan, GMan and I build a gingerbread house. Tonight JMan and I applied the finishing touches.

Complete with shadow study!

I’m guessing it’s 11:45am on a sunny day with no clouds.

For all you architectural types. This is the SOUTH ELEVATION

Happy Hanukkah

Hanukkah is not complete without potato latkes, dreidels and gelt.

Don’t forget the apple sauce and powdered sugar.

We be like eight’s too many, but who’s counting…..menorah that is.

Bearings gifts

JMan came home bearing gifts.

Clockwise: The collection that JMan made. Candy sled. Tea tree. Napkin holder. Campfire candle and earrings.

Cube fun

My comrade in cube Mike and I decided this year is the year we’d win the cube decorating contest.

Here’s the concept. Note the *Fire Hazard warning! Build a wall that completely covered our cube opening. Do it after hours, leave no mess and it cannot impact anything. Last year for Halloween we got in trouble for hanging stuff off the sprinkler pipes!

Here’s the end results.

Window treatments.

Inside view. Note the fine framing job Mike did on the wall. Operable door and all!

Now that it’s up we are trying to come up with excuses to keep it in place. After all only director get offices!
